Dr. Smith has over 25 years of clinical and academic experience as a physical therapist and professor in both the military and the civilian sectors. While on active duty LTC Smith served in numerous leadership and clinical positions. Some highlights and significant places of duty include: Officer in Charge at Army Physical Fitness Research Institute at the SGM Academy, Chief of Physical Therapy, William Beaumont Army Medical Center, El Paso TX, Company Commander Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii. Additionally she served a 1 year combat tour at Forward Operating Base Falcon, Iraq from 2007-2008 with the 1st Infantry Division, 4th BDE, Ft Riley Kansas as OIC of Physical Therapy and Triage Officer.

Tracy has a love of writing, cooking, fitness and good margaritas. Her hobbies include backpacking, skiing, yoga and weight training.
