About the Course
The Leader 360º Course is a structured leadership and resilience training experience designed for military organizations seeking measurable improvements in decision-making, stress management, and sustained performance.
The course integrates applied leadership principles with resilience practices in a cohort-based environment, reinforcing both individual capability and organizational readiness.
Leader 360° Course Origins
The Leader 360° Course is based on the highly successful Soldier 360° Course conceptualized, designed, and developed by Colonel (Retired) Mary Lopez and Brigadier General (Retired) Steve Salazar while on active duty, with the first pilot course offered in March 2010.
As the Commanding General of the Joint Multinational Training Command, BG (Ret) Steve Salazar was the original supporter of the Leader 360° Course in the Grafenwoehr Military Community, ensuring integration of community resources to support the course and the support of the military Commanders to maximize the benefits post course.
COL (Ret) Mary Lopez has championed the course throughout the Department of Defense. She managed and delivered over 70 courses as the Course Director and a Lead Instructor.

Leader 360° Course Today
The Leader 360° Course has grown and evolved into a ten-day on-site course that is solidly science-based, providing intense, comprehensive, multi-faceted hands-on holistic training in all areas of resiliency, health, and wellness. It's focused on enhancing strength and balance in leaders while providing relevant and essential tools for leaders to manage and respond to Soldier, Marine, Airman, and Guardsman issues and challenges. Although Dr. Lopez and Steve Salazar are now retired, the entire Leader 360º Course team continues to honor their legacy by continuing the mission of Leader 360º Course.
